Phoenix Rising

Phoenix Rising first spoke early in 2024 during a creative mentorship and grew as an opportunity for people to choose a truly nourishing retreat from the world for a few hours. I look forward to sharing more about this as it evolves.

December 26th 2024 the Yarram Gap Bushfire reached our bush block on the corner of Redman and Long Gully Roads. It was the second ’round’ of fire we had prepared for that day, and we headed out just after 6pm prepared for the worst. By that time the power had been off for 24 hours, the whole atmosphere was totally otherworldish – the sounds, the sights, the smells. We spent until 2am on the ends of fire hoses, moving back and forth as we used water to keep the vegetation as wet as possible, also keeping alert for ember attack and hosing the rooftops of each of the buildings occasionally. There was no sense of time, whilst the flames reached to the tops of the tallest of the gum trees in the bush block, we worked towards saving the campground. My memories are fairly vivid, and yet the immense power of the fire element is what stands out. The elements of fire, earth, air and water are all so intricately woven in our environment.

Phoenix Rising Sessions are now possible. We are now open again and there is nothing left of the fire other than ashes, blackened bushland and exhausted bodies desperately hoping for rain. Time taken out to nourish and nurture our bodies leaves us fresh and ready to offer the best treatments.

The Gong is also featured in this treatment – having arrived here at Innerji Sound and Massage in October 2024, she is ready to share deep resonant vibrations with in the session. Along with the Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls, Aura Soma, Bush Flower Essences, there are many vibrational and frequency healing tools which may be incorporated in your session. You can even add on more to create a full day if you wish, with the Infra Red Sauna on hand, the lake for a swim and beautiful spots for a picnic lunch, please feel welcome to reach out and let me know what inspires you – a ‘La Plactica’ traditional Mayan welcome and introduction, possibly a ‘Bajos’ Mayan Steam before a two hour Kahuna Massage is a beautiful start to an experience of whole body nourishment that most of us only ever dream of!

I absolutely love creating these sessions for my clients, so please do feel welcome to contact me if you feel the call.
